Thank you, London!

Thanks everyone who came by and brightened our days here in lovely London! Nothing makes us more happy than meeting our wonderful, inspiring customers, so thank you thank you! We were able to sneak off a few times during the week, so here's a peak at some of our favorite spots!

We couldn't come to London without a stop at the Tate Modern to see Kara Walker's Fons Americanus, a reinterpretation of a celebratory British fountain depicting the transatlantic slave trade, and Yinka Shonibare's British Library. Shonibare has covered a library of books in wax prints, each with gold embossed names of notable immigrants to Britain, as well as opponents of immigration.

We really wanted to spend a bit of time in Brixton, home of London's African and Caribbean communities, and a large central market with textiles and food! Our first stop was for Jamaican food in the heart of Electric Avenue, the first street market in the UK to be illuminated with electric lights! All we can say is: come for the jerk chicken, stay for the salt fish fritters :)
