Ethiopia has the oldest and most prolific textile weaving tradition in all of East and Southern Africa, and we are so proud to share these textiles with you, made by the team at Sabahar. Sabahar provides artisans with the stability and respect they need to take pride in their work and securely provide for their families. Providing a formal structure for the artisans, work safety and job security is critical to their long-term economic and social stability.

Using cotton produced in Ethiopia and natural dyes are from plants, insects and seeds found locally, Sabahar strives to produce the highest quality handmade products using the gifts of the craft and the raw materials Ethiopia provides.
