Turquoise is always in fashion... this mix of colours and shapes from nature is so appealing... today I'm wearing it with a little cashmere cardigan and boots, but it's also just as easy to style with a long-sleeved top underneath or worn as is with sandals on warmer days... the fabric is substantial without being heavy and I will wear it year-round.

In addition it its lovely and vibrant teal/turquoise hue, this dress is rich in wonderful details - the leaves have fun patterns in them, giving the design depth and playfulness. Like the model in the Zuri photo, I put it over a black top on a chilly and rainy day, and love this variation in potential ways to wear this dress. I also got a belt for it, which will give it a different flair. I am lucky to live in Southern California, so I can wear this pretty year-round in different combinations.

I wanted this dress when it was released. I could not buy it at that time, and I assumed it would sell out immediately, so that I had no chance. Lucky for me, it was still available after a few weeks (how was this possible?). I made the purchase, also ordering the matching sash. The dress looks great on! My first Zuri maxi, it fits and flatters. The print is a perfect balance of colors and shapes, allowing it to have a seasonless appeal and be good (imo) for all skin tones. It looks like a simple fifties-style house dress, which I love, right at first, but it proves to be elegant and dressy, too. Thanks again, Zuri!
