Lavender

I almost slept on this dress, snagging maybe one of the very last ones available. PHEW, I'm so glad I didn't miss it! It's just gorgeous. I love all the linen dresses I have, tbh, but this one is such a great color. I can wear it year round and it's fun and bright. It's nice to put on something cheerful even when it's dreary outside!

The in-person color for my Lavender is a medium, vivid periwinkle. Hyacinth, Wisteria, any of the brighter blurples can’t hold a candle to this gorgeous color. I love this Zuri so much that if I ever lost mine, I would scour the earth to replace it. It is the dream color for me, hair color-wise. I’ve been attempting to get hair the exact color of this Zuri. AND this Zuri is linen, which looks, feels, wears beautifully. In fact, the linen gives the Zuri an almost nubbly pattern all by itself. This is no plain, solid dress. It’s a revelation. If I could, I would buy all the solid color linen Zuris. They are that wonderful.

The picture with the actual dress was taken at a local store. I think the unicorn is for kids, but I promised I wouldn’t break it. Its name is Pixie, and she actually works! The other two photos are how close I’ve gotten my hair to the color.

This lavender color is not too muted or too rich, it’s a delicate lavender that easily combines with other purple colors. I find this linen, like others, to be slightly tighter across the shoulders. But it’s not enough for me change sizes. The feel of wearing this is sensational. It is relaxed and elevated at the same time.
