This dress is a stunner and received many compliments at a work event back in March. Paired with black boots and large bold gold earrings and was told I was “both the rainbow and the pot of gold” — I’ll take it! I do wish there was a long version for midis as they hit my leg at a weird place but that’s the price to pay for being tall.

I fell in love with the fabric when ROYGBIV first came out, but having read mixed reviews on the long style, I didn't buy immediately. Finding myself on Bleecker St completely by chance during a recent visit to NYC, I knew I had to find Zuri and try it on. I fell in love with the dress and bought it. The print looks like colorful stacks on books, another love of mine.
I am disappointed in the sleeve length. With the colder weather I like the long sleeves, but they’re not quite long enough so I’m rolling the cuffs to make the sleeves work. I wear a medium, normally and the medium fit perfectly through the shoulders. I tried the large and I was just over whelmed by fabric so I’m making do with the slightly too short sleeves. I also prefer a contrast in the belt, and luckily I have one. Actually, the belt was my first ever Zuri purchase so the outfit pictured here is Zuri firsts x3: first purchase, first live purchase, and first long.

Love the pattern and style of this dress. The pattern is matched on both sides to perfection. Such thought was put into placement. Love the cut and length of the midi style. Fits great. I prefer a little extra room, so I sized up.

Despite my height (5’3”) I’m a big fan of the midi length. I’d been hoping to see one with a multicolor pattern so this one was a no-brainer when it dropped. Even though the stacks of color are horizontal, the oscillating black detail that runs vertically is extremely flattering to the figure and elongating. It makes the dress equally appealing with a belt or without. Love a statement that’s bright and bold!

I ordered up a size or two in this dress for the extra length and also so that it would stand away from my body in a more structural way, and it was absolutely a good decision. I LOVE it! My pattern is like the one in the photo, with the central pattern line going down the front. I don’t know (or care) whether or not it’s flattering. I can’t wait to wear this for a special occasion, or just because.
