I was hoping that this fabric would be lightweight and soft, but it’s stiffer and rougher than other dresses. Pretty pattern, and good color, but too heavy.

I'm sorry to hear it wasn't as soft as expected. The fabric should soften a bit with each wash and wear, kind of like a good pair of jeans. It won't get super soft but it does become noticeably more comfortable over time!!

I am truly shocked that this dress has not sold out. It is a batik with such a lovely shade of red. Such a cheery color and pattern. And that wonderful irregularity of handmade (vs machine printed) fabric.
