Trivial Pursuit

This dress has received so many compliments from perfect strangers the three times I've worn it. It's just the right amount of "pop" with the bright colors and geometric shapes, as opposed to flowers or less angular designs. I have to start carrying around Zuri flyers because they never listen when I tell them it's a Zuri dress, they are always in a hurry (stranger danger of the adult kind--getting caught in a conversation with someone you don't know who might yammer on for hours). Finding accessories has been more challenging: I'm wearing silver jewelry here but you can hardly see it, perhaps some bold turquoise and royal blue accessories might stand out more. But in colder weather, it will look sharp with a black turtleneck and tights.

Trivial Pursuit 2026! I first fell in love with the Zuri "just one dress" entitled "Trivial Pursuit" in its first edition. I was stunned by the print and concept, but waited too long and missed my opportunity to own one. Fast forward to 2026 when the reboot appeared! I jumped at the chance to get a favorite print of my own. This dress does not disappoint. A vibrant, geometric print that can be dressed up or down? I am smitten!

Another resurrected print but with variations. 2026 version is a brighter cool-toned blue with more deconstructed hexagon shapes and pops of pink lines interspersed through the pattern.

I put mine on straight out of the package when it arrived at work. My colleagues all commented that the yellow in the print matched my eyeglasses perfectly!

The fabric is thinner but not as thin/gauzy as the 100% made in Kenya fabric. I'm in my usual size M standard and I fold the sleeves up once so they hit right at the elbow.
