I love the art deco vibe with the pattern. The vein-like lines in the lavender areas almost make me think of eyeballs which isn’t a bad thing especially since I work in an optometry office 👓 I also like the vertical orientation of the pattern on the shirt compared to the dress.
What’s interesting with this print is that up close the colors look more neutral and pastel but at a distance it’s like the colors become almost electric and glowy. It manages to be both warm and cool toned. I can see this being universally flattering because of that.
It’s neat that this week we get the option of this print in either a shirt or a short sleeved dress. Fabric is regular medium weight - neither too soft or stiff.
