バティック生地を作成するには、リサイクルワックスを溶かし、型押しパターンを使用して生地に塗布します。エドウィナは、スタンプされたデザインをフォームに自分で彫刻します。フォームは木材よりも再利用しやすく、加工が容易です。ガーナのアクラに住む数人の女性たちとともに、エドウィナと彼女のチームは常に、真に独創的な方法でパターンと重ねられた色の両方を活用したデザインを作成しています。 2018 年に共同作業を開始して以来、40 を超えるユニークなテキスタイルを共同で生産し、開始以来継続的に生産し続けています。エドウィナと彼女のチームとこのコラボレーションを共有できることをとても光栄に思います。

This is my second Patchwork Sleeveless top, but in beautiful Batik Prints! Thank you to the Zuri Sew team! I admire the pattern layout and the detail in the collar and arms. The top was a great example for my niece’s Brownie Troop for their patchwork pillow project.

I always thought of wearing sleeveless shirts in summer but when I got this one I realized I could wear it as a vest over other things with sleeves!

I really love this top for several reasons. I love that it's hand crafted, of course. I also like having strong colours, but I'm not a fan of patchwork and batik in general - often these designs are too busy for my taste. But this top beautifully combines predominantly black, shades of grey and purple, with minor pops of orange and lime, in an interesting abstract way. Love it!
