You guys!! - I had my eye on "Be Mine" for a while, there was just something about it! Let me tell you how I love this dress! It's not something I would have initially gone for but the roses reminded me of something and I realized it was the rose in "The Little Prince" or "Le Petite Prince," A favorite book and movie! He also even wears a duster in one of the illustrations! And! And, And.... once I tried it on I realized it also reminded me of Manuel Cuevas's and Nudie Cohn's famous "Nudie Suits" From Nudies Rodeo Tailors! This one with the red and yellow roses was worn by one of the Flying Burrito Brothers and later by Elton John on an album cover. So, to make a long story short, this dress inspires all sorts of joy in me about things that I love! My personal name for it will be either "Sweetheart of the Rodeo' or "You are responsible for your Rose" - ❤

This was one of my first Zuri dresses and I absolutely fell in love with it at first sight. It goes great with my green boots and every time I wear it I get tons of compliments. Thank you for this splash of joy that Be Mine brings.

As soon as I saw this fabric I knew I'd get it. I ordered it, not realizing how important this dress would become. My grandfather LOVED roses. He tended rose gardens and took such care in growing the varieties. He passed only a few days after I purchased this dress and I knew exactly what I'd be wearing to his funeral.
It gets even better, because his favorite color is blue. The gray and black shades in this dress definitely lean blue (as I've shown in my pictures). I pair with blue accessories and it is completely lovely!
