This Denim Blues maxi is a lightweight linen perfect for hot days... put on a jacket and in many places it's perfect year-round... it's a little sheer below the knees in bright sun, but there's nothing too revealing with the maxi length... I wore it today with the Zuri Confetti coat and it was perfect on a sunny fall day. I did size up only because it's a linen and I prefer a looser fit in this fabric... also, the maxi is a more fitted cut and I don't like to put any strain on linen seams... it worked beautifully for me.

The dress is well-made and flattering. I'm 5'7", 145 lbs, and curvy, and the S fits well but with enough room to spare that I could probably wear the XS. It hangs to about mid-calf, maybe a little lower.
The color is richer and deeper than it looks in the shop photo, and not in the denim spectrum at all. I like this color much better, and it fits splendidly into the spectrum of blue and green clothes I wear with the red hair.

I originally had some trepidation about the maxi sleeveless style, but Denim Blues has been a lot of fun to wear, especially during our typical summer days of June Gloom through Fogust here on the Pacific coast. I thought it looked great with a mural by Sally Rodriguez in our old town.

I like the maxi dress for travel in warm weather. The long length protects you from the sun but allows cool air flow. You csn walk the city, go to a show a museum and out to dinner and be comfortable.
Im 5'2" and 155 lbs snd the small fits well. I can wear a thin T shirt under the dress if I want a little more layers
