This is one of the few times that I adored a print but felt that it wasn’t well suited on me when I tried it on. I ended up exchanging it for a pattern that I loved to wear as well as look at.
If it wasn’t for the pattern placement I love everything about this print - the color palette, the geometric design, and all the little details that give it a lot of texture and visual interest. I tend to love the busier Zuri prints overall.
This short sleeved shirt style is very boxy and slightly cropped. I can pull off a M just fine and sizing down minimizes the bat wing effect of the sleeves since the cut is a drop shoulder style where the seam hits across the upper arm. I tried on a L and it’s my preferred size in the Zuri shirts - gives more room in the tummy area and a little more length in the hips.

Gambit is a very intriguing print both from afar and up close. It’s a sophisticated colorway that can carry you from summer into fall easily. The fabric is on the stiffer side, which I prefer, but is also smooth, making it comfortable and easy to wear. Love it!

…..oh boy this one is great! When I first saw it, it did not tempt me at all but when I started looking closer at the pattern and the colours, it’s absolutely amazing! I just love the short sleeved shirts as a top on its own or a cover up over a tank top or T-shirt. Grab this one if your size is still available!
