So originally I planned to wear "Huzzah" on New Year's Eve and/or New Year's Day due to the pattern's fireworks/celebratory vibe.
Now mind you, I had no official plans or events to attend for/on either day...but...as a dear friend on mine always says, "If you stay ready, you ain't got to get ready!" 😉 😅🤣😂
However, on a last minute whim, I pulled her forward to wear to our church back home and decided to channel a fellow Zuri lover by pattern mixing (I hope I made her proud).
Again, I love the fall and winter holidays and the opportunities they both bring for reconnecting with family and friends.

I am very pleased with this dress / jacket! I’m 5’3” and it’s a great length on me (I wore it with leggings today). The fabric is just as described and the construction is well done. As a person who used to sew my own clothes, I appreciate the placket down the front that covers the buttons, the pockets & the easy swing of the skirt. It’s a great addition to my wardrobe. This os a beautiful vibrant dress perfect for this rainy weather because who doesn’t want to see bright & breezy in the rain!
