バティック生地を作成するには、リサイクルワックスを溶かし、型押しパターンを使用して生地に塗布します。エドウィナは、スタンプされたデザインをフォームに自分で彫刻します。フォームは木材よりも再利用しやすく、加工が容易です。ガーナのアクラに住む数人の女性たちとともに、エドウィナと彼女のチームは常に、真に独創的な方法でパターンと重ねられた色の両方を活用したデザインを作成しています。 2018 年に共同作業を開始して以来、40 を超えるユニークなテキスタイルを共同で生産し、開始以来継続的に生産し続けています。エドウィナと彼女のチームとこのコラボレーションを共有できることをとても光栄に思います。

MVPEA is a bright and beautiful pick-me-up for a rainy day. Pro tip: because MVPEA is a hand-made wax resist batik fabric, there is variation in the intensity of the green, and the whiteness of the dots. The amazing Charlotte on the Zuri customer service team & the wonderful Bleecker Street store staff were able to help find a dress that matched my preferences. Thank you again!

Polka dots are a favoured batik design and this one doesn't disappoint 💚🤍💚 The fabric is suitable for year-round wear, but light enough for a sunny day... I wore it with my batik tank top that uses the same green batik fabric on one side, contrasted with larger batik dots in an orange, pink & white combo on the other side... this fun ensemble is perfect with green sandals, which are a ubiquitous summer choice in footwear.

What a fabulous, lightweight dress this is! The weight is perfect for spring/summer and the fabric is very soft and comfortable on the skin. The green is soft and cheerful and with the white spots on the green this dress reminds me of the lime spiders I used to get in the ‘70’s from my local milk bar 😄
