Well, given that I come from Southern Africa, buying a dress named Rooibos was an absolute no-brainer. Honestly, if Rooibos isn’t being snapped up by Zuristas from Southern Africa, then what are we even doing? How does that make sense? We should be leading the charge on this one , it practically has our name stitched into the seams.

Now, I’ll admit, browns aren’t usually in my wheelhouse. They don’t typically bring the drama I like. I’m a “make-an-entrance” kind of woman. But this one? Oh, it brought the drama. The moment I paired it with my accessories, everything clicked & the look was complete, the vibe unmatched.

I have absolutely no complaints about this dress. Stepping out of my comfort zone never looked this good, and I might just start rethinking my relationship with brown. Who knew that brown could behave this well? Not me!

Really looking at the pattern of Rooibos is such a pleasure- it is both regular and irregular, which is soothing and exciting all at once! My Rooibos has semi-horizontal vines with the incredibly colored leaves offset in their position and placement. I love this effect, creating an interesting visual "rhythm". Also, the colors in the print are magnificent, reminiscent of rich antique fabrics with deep golden background tones and bits of rich, vibrant color. A fun and energizing Zuri!
