Woven by India's oldest certified fair-trade artisanal weaving cooperative in West Bengal, these textiles are a dream! Each fabric is a hand-loomed blend of cotton and linen. We chose this blend for two reasons: 1) to create subtle texture and movement within the weave; and (more practically) 2) so that your shirts and dresses will be super easy to wash and wear, as they'll be more wrinkle resistant, more durable, and drape a bit heavier when worn. (While the fabric was produced in India, the dresses were all proudly stitched in Kenya by our team.)

This shirt is Lovely and reminds me so much of Spring!!! The fit and feel is Amazing!! I wore it today since it is like Spring outside in NYC! I had some fun accessorizing with my funky Ugg sandals!

I first glimpsed this breath of fresh air of a shirt in the San Francisco store and instantly fell in love with it. But it was not officially released yet, so I had to wait to get it. I loved it as much when I finally received it. The color and the sweet leaf pattern are so sweet. The fabric is comfortable and feels great on its own, as a little jacket, or layered under a sweater (it peeks fetchingly from under a black cashmere pullover). I will certainly want to wear it on many occasions. It feels like being embraced by Spring. And the fit is great - not as big as many other Zuri shirts! I took this photo in the freshly renovated SF store with it delicious coral walls - which do not overpower this adorable top.
