Woven by India's oldest certified fair-trade artisanal weaving cooperative in West Bengal, these textiles are a dream! Each fabric is a hand-loomed blend of cotton and linen. We chose this blend for two reasons: 1) to create subtle texture and movement within the weave; and (more practically) 2) so that your shirts and dresses will be super easy to wash and wear, as they'll be more wrinkle resistant, more durable, and drape a bit heavier when worn. (While the fabric was produced in India, the dresses were all proudly stitched in Kenya by our team.)

I am in Love Love Love with this cool and classic print. It reminds me of the chicklet gum I ate as a child. I Love the effect of the Polka Dot look froma distance. The fit & feel is Amazing!!!I also got the matching pants for a Uniform Retro look! I am so Happy with this print. Celebrated my Sisters Birthday and while I was out and about I had a Zuri siting with Marimba who Loved my outfit. Thank You Zuri!

I absolutely Love Love this print and that it is a short sleeve top! The squares at a distance give it a Polka Dot effect. My Mom said they are Mint Candies, she really likes the print. The fit & feel is Perfection. I wore my Red Sabah shoes for a Pop of Color and it tied it all together Wonderfully! I also had a Zuri siting and met Marimba!

I tend to purchase the short sleeved shirts in the fabric sourced from India - nubby texture but soft like linen. This one feels slightly thicker though. I love the navy blue color and white square pattern. I have to caution when washing this to always use cold water and color catcher sheets. The blue dye in this started to run into the white square areas even before I washed it - particularly around the collar where I get sweaty.
That’s the only thing that keeps me from giving this particular item my usual five stars. I feel like with each wash I’m going to see considerable fading over time.
