Meet our production partner, SOKO Kenya! Based in Kikambala on the Kenyan coast, they are an ethical manufacturer that truly embraces a fair, kind and transparent work culture. In order to create a batik fabric, recycled wax is melted and applied to the fabric using a stamped pattern. Edwina carves each stamped design herself in foam, which is easier to repurpose and work with than wood. Together with several women in Accra, Ghana, Edwina and her team always create designs that play on both pattern and layered color in a truly original way. Since we began working together in 2018, we've produced over 40 unique textiles together, keeping them in continuous production since we started. We're so honored to share this collaboration with Edwina and her team!

There is something so magnetic about Elysium design. It’s intriguing, beguiling, irresistible. I missed the maxi in my size and decided to get the shirt so as to have something in this pattern. I love the versatility of Zuri shirts. They fit well and can be easily dressed up or down, and worn as jackets as well. On hot days I wear them with shorts, on chilly ones with pants. And always feel put together yet fun.

I live this nubby soft fabric. While it was a long day and I was pretty tired , this print and comfortable shirt did not tire snd brightened my day. Love the green and navy contrasts.

I abaolutely Love Love this print and color of this shirt and the fabric is so soft and comfy! The fit and feel is spectacular! I wore it with the matching pants for a uniformed classic look and paired it with my Leopard sandals. I layere with my Julahas Linen Tuscan overlay. This has such a 50’s vibe! Seems all brave new world space agey and super easy to pair with various jeans, pants, shorts and skirts. The fabric is thick so it’ll be great in the Fall.
