In order to create a batik fabric, recycled wax is melted and applied to the fabric using a stamped pattern. Edwina carves each stamped design herself in foam, which is easier to repurpose and work with than wood. Together with several women in Accra, Ghana, Edwina and her team always create designs that play on both pattern and layered color in a truly original way. Since we began working together in 2018, we've produced over 40 unique textiles together, keeping them in continuous production since we started. We're so honored to share this collaboration with Edwina and her team!

It photos it looks bright red and white, but it's really more of a brick red and pink-tinged white. Even my selfie doesn't quite capture the colors correctly.

A rich red floral, simple, yet so elegant. This dress is beautiful, wonderful and impossibly special. I saved it to wear on my birthday... it's definitely a Zuri that could not disappoint. I'm a huge fan of the batiks, but this one feels spectacular on.

I Loved this dress immediately when I saw it. It reminds me so much of Spring and Moms garden. The print is Wonderful and the fabric is Lovely to the touch. I recently wore it to DC to see the Cherry Blossoms and it was the perfect contrast against the Light Pink and White Blossoms. Once again Zuri had managed to exceed my expectations with this Stunning print which brings me so much Joy!!
